Tempe Neighborhoods and Homes
Central Valley living near ASU, Tempe Town Lake and the light rail.
Living in Tempe
Tempe neighborhoods sit at the center of the Valley, between Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa and Chandler. The city is home to Arizona State University's main campus, Tempe Town Lake and the shops and restaurants of Mill Avenue, and it is one of the most connected cities in the metro area.
North Tempe, near the university and the lake, feels very different from the quieter residential neighborhoods of south Tempe, so the right area depends on how you want to live.
Homes in Tempe
Tempe offers established single-family neighborhoods, condos and townhomes, and homes that are popular with buyers who want a central location. Being close to the university also means some buyers look at rental and investment potential, while others prefer neighborhoods farther from campus activity.
As an Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Realty, licensed since 2003, I help Tempe clients weigh those tradeoffs before they decide. Investors can start with my page on investment property; sellers can start with a home value.
Getting around Tempe
Interstate 10, the Loop 101 and the Loop 202 all serve Tempe, and the Valley Metro light rail runs through the city, connecting it to Phoenix and Mesa.
